Marybeth began doing yoga as an extension of physical therapy for chronic back pain. She was completely blown away not only by the physical improvement gained from the practice but also the effect on the stress level. With an eye towards deepening her practice, she enrolled in the 200-hour teacher training at the Abhyasa Yoga Institute in Meredith , NH. During this training she discovered that she really loved teaching yoga and sharing its benefits with others. After receiving her certificate she taught at The Practice Room in Meredith. Marybeth teaches group and private sessions with a focus on breath work and a slower pace of posture sequences. She is also a licensed massage therapist and loves how these two practices have such positive effects on people’s lives.
