For Sarah, the seed was planted many years ago in Kerala, India when she was originally drawn to yoga and the healing benefits of pranayama (breath control). Since then, yoga has taken her on a special journey …
In 2002 and 2006, Sarah's daughters were born. During her pregnancies, Sarah's yoga practice was invaluable for creating a deep connection with baby and in preparing for the challenges of labor and the experience of the power of birth. The awesomeness of these two experiences inspired Sarah to teach yoga with a focus on prenatal yoga and natural practices for childbirth.
Sarah's classes offer a nurturing environment and the opportunity to practice in the support of other pregnant women. With a balance of effort and deep relaxation, classes include fluid movement, meditation, sounding, breath work and restorative postures. She truly enjoys guiding and empowering women to connect to their immense power and strength, as well as their inherent wisdom, in order to find trust in their ability physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to birth from within.
